Ingredients

For 2 Liter Pitcher

  • 6 tsp Stinging Nettle Leaves, dried (2.14g)
  • 2 1/4 tsp Hibiscus Flowers, dried (4.9g)
  • 3/8 tsp Fennel Seeds, crushed (0.9g)
  • 6 Peppercorns, crushed (0.3g)

For 1.5 Liter Pitcher

  • 4 tsp Stinging Nettle Leaves, dried (1.35g)
  • 1 1/2 tsp Hibiscus Flowers, dried (2.57g)
  • 1/4 tsp Fennel Seeds, crushed (0.6g)
  • 4 Peppercorns, crushed (0.19g)

Instructions

  • Use a mortar and pestle to crush the hibiscus flowers to a size similar to the other ingredients, if needed.
  • Use a mortar and pestle to crush/bruise the Fennel Seeds and Peppercorns.
  • Using a tea envelope, an infuser, or nothing add all of the ingredients to the desired pitcher.
  • Fill the picture with cold water, and allow to cold-brew in the refrigerator for 8-24 hours.
  • Remove from the refrigerator and strain out the ingredients.  Give the pitcher a stir before pouring.
